FESS is the state of the art in taking care of resistant cases of chronic sinusitis and Sino-nasal polyps. It gives an excellent chance to remove pathology at the ostiomeatal complex and ensures patency of the sinuses ostia. This regains proper aeration and drainage of the sinuses, accordingly, recurrence is obviated.
